Voices Speak!

Through this project, we want to raise awareness, it is our very first project. It's starting at AISB, and it will soon spread around the city of Bucharest. That is about as far as 10 Middle School kids can make it go. You are a member of this project, or at least you can be. This started about three days ago, and it's still closed to AISB. What we want is to get people reasearching about poverty in their area, and maybe realize how they live compared to other countries. Some people, especially in Romania, may not realize that they are at the very limit of living in poverty.

First Action Steps

We are already on with this. In our school, we have somehting called "Homeroom Bulletin", and it is read to us everyday by the teachers in our school. The principal allready approved to include anonimus "Did you know?" facts everyday for 4 weeks. At the end, during the Assembly, we'll throw in a last fact and a "Did you know you can help?", and this will be more or less our way of invinting students in out school to join.
